Rivers Alive 2017

Over 300 volunteers came out to participate in Rivers Alive on Saturday, October 21st.

We began about 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 21st, with many groups gathering at their assigned cleanup locations, and several groups meeting at the Recycling Center to organize their day.

The troops set off to their designated locations, which included several parks and a number of popular roads here in Walton County.

This event proved to be extremely successful as we collected over 2,000 pounds of trash!

A special thanks to all the participants and volunteers who helped make this event a huge success.

Also, thank you to our sponsors, Walton EMC and BB&T.
