Partnership
meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 8:00AM at the
Walton Career Academy (old Monroe HS 212 Bryant Rd Monroe) in the Partnership
office. Everyone is welcome to attend. The
Partnership is a large network made up of Partners from the community
that consists of: parents, government agencies, non-profit organizations,
civic organizations, concerned citizens, and local officials that work
together to realize the vision that all children will grow to realize
their full potential in Walton County. The Partnership is a one-stop
shop for families and service providers to gather information on resources
and opportunities. They also provide direct services through the Wrap-around
Services Coordinator and the Parenting Coordinator.

The
Parenting education
program is tailored to the needs of the individual. The educational
sessions are conducted in home and are free of charge. Family counseling
is offered and is also provided in the participant's home. Both the
parenting education and family counseling are solution oriented and
are relatively short-term in nature. Referrals are screened using a
risk assessment scale to provide needed assistance on a priority basis.

This
program offers couple to couple marriage counseling from a
Christian perspective. The goal of marriage counseling at Lighthouse
is to help couples who are struggling in their marriage
to identify the true spiritual issues involved and set a
course of correction based on Scripture in 3-5 sessions.

Divorce
Care is a Christian based, 12 week-long, video facilitated course. It
is recommended for those that are experiencing the pain and loss of
divorce. Whether your divorce is recent or years ago you will benefit
from this course. Classes held Wednesday nights at 7:30
$15.00 fee for a workbook.

Parent-to-Parent
is a 4-session 8-hour class. The class has two components the first
being a video series that is shown at the start of each class session.
The second component is a facilitated group discussion that enables
participants to invest in solution-oriented discussion. Call

program is for grandparents who are raising one or more grandchildren
17 years of age or younger without either biological parent present
in the home. Program participants are eligible for the following services:
case management/social work services, health screenings, health counseling,
child custody consultation, legal education and services, grandparent
support groups, parenting education, mentoring and tutoring for the
grandchildren.

Family
support service that works with individuals, service providers, churches,
schools, and other individuals/agencies to provide comprehensive aid
to individuals and/or families by coordinating service delivery, social
support, and family responsibilities. The goal is to assist the individuals/families
in reaching self-sufficiency with dignity. Referrals are accepted from
service providers or individuals and are served on a prioritized basis.
Information and referral services are also provided for those individuals/families
not meeting wrap-around criteria.
