Voter Registration Application

   QUALIFICATIONS

       To Register to vote you must:

• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be a legal resident of the county
• Be at least 17½ years of age to register and 18 to vote
• Not be serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
• Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge

You do not have to register by political party.

You must be registered by the close of registration prior to an election if you wish to vote on election day.  If you mail in the application, it must be postmarked by the voter registration deadline.  Voter Registration Applications CANNOT be faxed.

If you move within the same county in which you are registered to vote, you must file a notice of your new address.  This can be done by writing your County Elections Office or by submitting a new Voter Registration Application.

   You may register to vote at the following locations:

• Elections Office
• Any library in the County
• Department of Driver Services
